I'm here to tell you my story. I want to tell you the story of how online dating black people really changed my life. You see, I was just a simple woman who just wanted to find love. I kept searching high and low and I looked everywhere for a person who could really satisfy my longing for love. There were so many men who were willing to take that chance, and I thought that they had genuinely loved me. Maybe some really did; however, somehow things would just never work out. Once things got serious, I would find myself alone again and waiting for the next man to fill my cup. I felt like a desperate woman who didn't know what to do with my life. I felt used, ashamed, and unloved.
Finally, after another heart breaking experience, I put my foot down and realized that I needed to stop and learn how to take care of myself. I couldn't allow men to rule over my life any longer and I decided that I was probably better off alone. So I did that, and I learned how to stand on my own. I realized that I actually had a gift for painting and writing and I decided to focus on that until I was even able to start my own business. It took many years to get back up on my feet again; however, I knew that this was important and I knew that I needed to get it done.
I was very much content with being alone. I already felt comfortable just take care of my own self and I didn't feel the need for anyone else. There were times where I would get quite lonely, but I just figured that this would be the price I would need to pay in order to get through my life. One day, my friend suggested that I try online dating black, which is basically dating black people online. I just laughed if off at first, but she was so persistent. She kept on telling me such positive feedbacks about black men and how they really know how to deal and handle a woman. She told me that they knew how to take care of me, yet wouldn't smother me to pieces either. She also mentioned that life was so much more beautiful when you have black man by yours side.
Because she kept on insisting, I decided to give online dating black a chance. And I was so surprised to find out that she was absolutely right! I met a fine black man who was very patient and kind. He was genuinely interested in getting to know me, even though he knew that I wasn't a black woman. We spend a lot of time chatting and emailing one another. Finally, after a year of consistent communication, we finally met each other face to face. We are now engaged, and I thank my friend every day, because without her recommendation I wouldn't be where I am today.
